The Corven warranty covers your watch for a full year, and good care keeps it running far longer.
Here is what the one-year warranty covers and how a claim works.
Every Corven watch is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If a covered fault appears, we will repair the watch or replace it, at our discretion, once it has been inspected by our team.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and needs a proof of purchase, such as your order number or invoice. Shipping the watch to us for service is paid by the buyer.
The warranty does not extend to the following situations, which are normal for any watch.
- Battery replacement, which is routine maintenance for every quartz watch.
- Normal wear, such as light scratches that build up on the case, bracelet or crystal over time.
- Damage from accidents, impacts or misuse.
- Water damage from use beyond the rated 30 metres, including swimming and showering.
Simple habits keep a steel watch looking new for many years.
Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft cloth after warm days, and use a slightly damp cloth if sweat or dust has built up between the links, drying it straight afterwards. Keep perfume and cleaning sprays away from the finish, since chemicals are the quickest way to dull a PVD coating.
Take the watch off before swimming or showering, and avoid wearing it in a sauna or hot bath where steam can reach the seals. When the battery runs down, have it replaced by a professional watchmaker who can check the gaskets at the same time.
When you are not wearing it, keep the watch in its presentation box, away from direct sunlight and strong magnets such as speakers.
